The North Face Black Friday 2026: Nuptse at ₩419,000 in Korea and US$380 in the US, and how to buy both in Hong Kong
Key points
• As of 4 November, neither The North Face Korea nor The North Face US has announced its 2026 Black Friday sale. Last year the US site took 30% off selected styles from 21 Nov to 1 Dec
• 1996 Retro Nuptse: ₩419,000 in Korea (about HK$2,450), US$380 in the US (about HK$2,960)
• The Korean official site and the Musinsa flagship store both need a Korean phone number, so use proxy shopping (service fee from 6%)
• The US site only delivers to US addresses: ship to the Buy&Ship US warehouse and forward to Hong Kong from HK$24/lb (Lai Chi Kok pickup point)
The North Face’s Nuptse down jackets, fleeces and backpacks are popular every winter. Korea has its own White Label line and Korea-only styles, while the US site has a wide range, and both are common ways to buy the brand.
Compare the two before Black Friday: the 1996 Retro Nuptse is ₩419,000 at the Musinsa official store in Korea and US$380 on the US site. At the 4 November exchange rate, Korea is about HK$520 cheaper.
The Korean official site needs Korean phone verification to sign up and does not ship overseas, so for Korean items use Buy&Ship proxy shopping: paste the product link, we place the order, and you pay in HKD. The US site only delivers within the US, so you can check out yourself, ship to the Buy&Ship US warehouse and forward the parcel to Hong Kong.

When is The North Face Black Friday 2026? Last year’s sales in Korea and the US
US Black Friday 2026 falls on 27 November and Cyber Monday on 30 November. As of 4 November, neither The North Face Korea nor The North Face US has announced this year’s sale.

| Store | 2026 Black Friday | Last year (2025) |
|---|---|---|
| The North Face US | Not announced | 21 Nov–1 Dec, 30% off selected styles, online and in stores |
| The North Face Korea | Not announced | No official Black Friday sale found; the site runs a SALE section of up to 40% off |
| Musinsa store | Musinsa Black Friday 15–25 Nov; whether The North Face takes part is not announced | — |
The 30% off on the US site last year covered selected styles only, not the whole store, and whether the Nuptse is included changes from year to year. In Korea, we could not find a Black Friday sale on the official site last year, though the site keeps a permanent sale section, and the Musinsa store’s prices follow Musinsa’s own sale events.
For Hong Kong start times of the US Black Friday sales, see our Black Friday 2026 guide.
1996 Retro Nuptse down jacket: cheaper in Korea or the US?
The 1996 Retro Nuptse is The North Face’s best-known down jacket, sold on both the Korean and US sites. At 4 November prices and exchange rates, Korea is cheaper before shipping; once the proxy service fee, local delivery in Korea and international shipping are added, the gap narrows.

| Korea (Musinsa official store) | US official site | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | ₩419,000 | US$380 |
| About | HK$2,450 | HK$2,960 |
| How to buy | Proxy shopping (service fee from 6%) | Check out yourself and ship to the US warehouse |

How do the Korean and US versions differ?
- Who runs it: The North Face in Korea is run by the Korean company Youngone Outdoor (영원아웃도어), named as the maker on the product page. Korea also has its own lines, such as White Label.
- Sizing: Korea uses numbered sizes such as 085, 090 and 095, and which of S, M or L each number matches varies by style. The US uses S, M, L. Check each site’s measurement chart.
- Fill labelling: the Korean Nuptse page lists the fill as 80% down and 20% feather, recycled, with no fill power stated; the US site lists 700-fill recycled down. The two are labelled differently, so their warmth can’t be compared directly.
- Purchase limit: on the Korean official site, the Nuptse is for logged-in members only, one per person.
If the US site includes the Nuptse in this year’s Black Friday sale, the US price could end up lower. Bookmark both product pages and compare once the sales start.
Korean official site or Musinsa? Prices compared
The North Face Korea’s official site and its official store on Musinsa are both run by Youngone Outdoor (both list the same business registration number), so both sell official stock. Both need Korean phone verification at checkout, so we recommend proxy shopping for either.
We compared the six jackets and accessories below on 4 November. Five cost the same on both; only the Kalon EX down jacket differed, at ₩327,420 on the official site and ₩385,200 on Musinsa (both from an original ₩428,000). Each site runs its own discounts, so check both before you order:
- Different prices: pick the cheaper site and paste that site’s product link into the proxy shopping form.
- Same price: pick the site where the other things you want are. One proxy order can only hold items from one website, so buying everything from one site keeps it to one order.
- Purchase limits: the official site limits the Nuptse to one per person; on Musinsa, the Nuptse, Project, Ella and Como are limited to one each.
Official site: thenorthfacekorea.co.kr; Musinsa store: musinsa.com
6 autumn/winter picks from The North Face Korea
These six come from The North Face’s official store on Musinsa (무신사). Prices are Korean won on 4 November, before coupons; the HKD figures are estimates at that day’s exchange rate, and your proxy quote shows the actual amount.

Opening Musinsa from Hong Kong may redirect you to Musinsa Global, which may not carry The North Face. Paste the product links below straight into the proxy shopping form instead.

Shipping The North Face to Hong Kong: from HK$24/lb from Korea and the US
Once your items reach the Buy&Ship Korea or US warehouse, shipping is usually charged by actual weight (unless a parcel exceeds the size limits). Both warehouses cost the same to Hong Kong:
| Pickup or delivery | Per lb |
|---|---|
| Buy&Ship Lai Chi Kok Pickup Point | HK$24 |
| Other Buy&Ship pickup points | HK$27 |
| SF or Cainiao pickup points | HK$32 |
| Post office | HK$34 |
| Commercial area delivery | HK$32 (HK$20 extra per order for residential and remote areas) |
Korean and US parcels can be combined into one shipment at our sorting centre, so you avoid rounding up the weight on each one separately.

Before you order
1. Check the size chart
The North Face Korea sizes clothing as 085, 090, 095, 100 and so on, and the matching S/M/L varies by style (the women’s Project 085 is S, while the Nuptse and Como 085 are XS). The US site uses S, M, L. Check the measurements on each product page (chest, length, sleeve).
2. Some jackets are limited to one each
On Musinsa, the Nuptse, Project, Ella and Como are limited to one per style, so you can’t buy several of the same jacket in one go; the Kalon EX and the earmuff cap allow up to three.
3. One website per proxy order
Each proxy order can hold up to 10 items from a single website. Musinsa and the Korean official site need separate orders; once the items arrive, they can be combined and shipped to Hong Kong together.
4. Paying on the US site
The US site accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal, among others. If your Hong Kong card doesn’t go through, switch to proxy shopping and send us the US product link instead.
5. Check the restrictions
For anything other than clothing and backpacks (camping or hiking gear, for example), check the restrictions page before you order.
FAQ
When is The North Face Black Friday 2026?
As of 4 November, neither The North Face Korea nor The North Face US has announced it. Last year the US site ran its Black Friday sale from 21 November to 1 December with 30% off selected styles; we found no Black Friday sale on the Korean official site last year.
Does The North Face Korea ship to Hong Kong?
No. Signing up needs Korean phone verification, and the site’s FAQ says it does not deliver overseas. Paste a product link from the official site or the Musinsa store into the proxy shopping form and Buy&Ship will buy it for you; your quote confirms whether it can be bought and the exact cost.
Does The North Face US ship to Hong Kong?
The US site only offers delivery within the US. At checkout, enter the Buy&Ship US warehouse as the delivery address, then forward the parcel to Hong Kong once it arrives. Our US warehouse is in a sales-tax-free state, so shipping there usually saves the local sales tax.
Is The North Face on Musinsa genuine?
The North Face’s shop on Musinsa is the brand’s official store.
Is there a proxy shopping fee?
Yes. The Buy&Ship proxy service fee starts from 6%; the item price, local delivery in Korea and international shipping are charged separately, and every fee is listed in your quote. See proxy shopping for details.
How to buy The North Face: proxy shopping and forwarding
Use proxy shopping for the Korean official site and the Musinsa store. For the US site, check out yourself and ship to the US warehouse, or switch to proxy shopping if your payment doesn’t go through.
Method 1: Proxy shopping (Korean official site, Musinsa store)
You don’t need to read Korean or have a Korean shopping account, and you pay in HKD.
Step 1: Copy the product link
- On the Korean official site or the Musinsa store, choose the style, colour and size, then copy the product page link. Musinsa links should start with www.musinsa.com.
Step 2: Create a proxy order
- Log in to Buy&Ship, open the proxy shopping form, choose Korea, paste the link and fill in the colour, size (for example 090) and quantity. Each proxy order holds up to 10 items from one website.
Step 3: Confirm the quote and pay
- Once the order is reviewed, pay the HKD amount shown (item price plus proxy service fee), and we place the order for you.
Step 4: Ship it to Hong Kong
- When the items reach our Korea warehouse, combine them under Manage Orders, choose a pickup point or delivery, and pay for international shipping.
Method 2: Check out on the US site yourself + US warehouse forwarding
Step 1: Get your US warehouse address
- Log in to Buy&Ship and copy your US warehouse address, filling in the name and address fields as shown.
Step 2: Order on the US site
- Enter the US warehouse address as the delivery address and complete payment. Joining XPLR Pass (free) gets you free standard shipping.
Step 3: Add the shipment and forward it
- When you get the dispatch email, add the tracking number under New Shipment in Buy&Ship. Once everything has arrived, combine the parcels, choose pickup or delivery, and pay for shipping.
