Free Standard Plan
  • All parcels shipped by Buyandship members via our service enjoy this plan
  • Each parcel, associated with a unique tracking number, is considered independently
Lost Parcel Coverage
  • Only applicable when the entire parcel is lost
  • Does not apply to cases of partial loss (i.e. some expected contents missing)
  • Requires accurate parcel declaration information and proofs of purchase
  • Compensation will be the lesser of the parcel’s declared value or the invoice sales price
  • Maximum compensation per parcel is US$100 or its equivalent in foreign currency at current exchange rates
Damaged Parcel Coverage
  • If the contents of a damaged parcel cannot function properly, the compensation will be up to 30% of the delivery fee, with a maximum amount of US$100
  • Compensation will not be considered for any damaged parcel that contains liquids
  • Compensation will not be considered for fragile goods, goods with improper packaging, or goods that lack appropriate protection, including ceramics, glasses, LCDs, books, paper products, and plastic products
  • Compensation will not be considered for goods with intact packaging
  • Compensation will not be considered for parcels with distorted, demolished, or damaged outer packaging where there is no actual damage to the contents
  • Compensation will not be considered for a parcel packed without an appropriately strong outer carton box, wooden box, or sealed packaging
Buyandship Plus
  • Buyandship Plus provides additional protection and free parcel return service for parcels with a declared value of above US$100
  • Users can purchase Buyandship Plus during the parcel declaration process. The fee is 3% of the declared value of parcel and will be collected together with the delivery fee
  • The maximum fee of Buyandship Plus for each parcel (with one tracking number) is US$1,560
  • Buyandship may refuse the claim for compensation if the declared value of parcel is lower than the price stated on the proof of purchase
  • If the declared value of parcel is higher than the price stated on the proof of purchase, the fee of Buyandship Plus collected will not be refunded

Free Return Shipping
  • Applicable only to returns to USA and UK-based sellers who offer free return service for goods after sales
  • Each return must be accompanied by a proof of return or other similar proof of communication with the seller
  • Users must bring the returned parcel to Kwai Hing Buyandship Redemption Centre in person. Upon checking, the returned parcel will be sealed and packed, and a photographic record will be made
  • The returned parcel will be sent within 5 working days after receipt at Kwai Hing, and the tracking number of the parcel will be sent to the user’s registered email address
  • The estimated parcel travel time to the United States or United Kingdom is 5-10 working days
  • Please confirm all seller restrictions and return deadlines prior to initiating a return. Buyandship will not liable for any delivery delays

  • Parcels with improper packaging or inappropriate protection
  • Goods with intact packaging contained in parcels of any state
  • Distorted, demolished, or damaged outer packaging without any actual damage to the parcel contents
  • Parcels packed without an appropriately strong outer carton box, wooden box, or sealed packaging
Any Damage/ Loss due to Natural Disasters
  • Natural deterioration or losses
  • Bad weather, lightning, tsunamis, earthquakes, floods and other natural disasters during transportation
  • Any temperature or humidity changes
  • Natural disasters may include, but are not limited to, earthquakes, tornadoes, storms, floods, fires, plagues, fog, snow, frost, or geological disasters
Unforeseen Circumstances
  • Negligence or actions by any customs agency, carrier company, or government officials, such as customs returns, flight delays, et cetera
  • Parcels with improper, incomplete, or false declaration information, or which lack a valid tracking number
  • Parcels with false proof of receipt, inaccurate pre-declared information, wrong delivery from sellers, or no inbound information
  • Suspicious or fraudulent websites, or any inability to contact the sellers
  • Parcels that lack a valid signature by a receiver at a Buyandship warehouse, or that lack certified proof of delivery by the responsible oversea courier to our overseas warehouse
  • Parcels lost in transit prior to receipt at a Buyandship warehouse, or where the sender provided false documentation
  • Parcels damaged, deteriorated, or in otherwise poor condition upon arrival at a Buyandship warehouse, or which contain quantities of goods different from the amount ordered from the seller
  • Parcels with contents that have passed its shelf life, warranty period, or other time-sensitive conditions due to the customs clearance
  • Losses due to fluctuations in market prices
  • Transportation accidents, invasions, insurrections, strikes, or other regional disputes, such as civil disturbances, terrorist attacks, or war during parcel transit
  • Radioactive contamination
  • Government sanctions
  • Any temporary prohibitions or restrictions on exporting or importing goods imposed on any of Buyandship’s export or service regions
How to Claim
Precautions for Receiving Your Parcel
  • Check that the parcel’s packaging is intact and that there is not a significant difference between expected and actual weight
  • No matter the condition of the outer packaging, inspect the parcel first in the presence of the courier or any relevant staff before signing the courier’s delivery receipt
  • If the parcel or its contents are found to be damaged, please prepare the proof of purchase (such as invoices or transaction records), photographs of the outer packaging, and photographs of the damaged parcel contents. Please contact us to initiate a claim for compensation, and provide all documentation
  • If the parcel or its contents are found to be damaged, you reserve the right to refuse to sign any documents from the courier and to take photographs of the parcel immediately
Lost Parcel
  • When initiating a claim, please provide as many documents as possible to prove the actual value and quantity of the goods contained in the lost parcel. Acceptable forms of documentation include proofs of purchase, invoices, transaction records, delivery notifications, seller communications, and any available photographs of the parcel and/or its contents. Buyandship reserves the right to request users to provide more information as needed
  • Please send the above documents to [email protected] with “Username + Order Number + Claim” in email subject
  • Buyandship reserves the right to refuse a claim if any above-mentioned documents are lacking or if we are not able to confirm the necessary details
  • We will respond within 7 days after all the necessary documents are provided
  • Any claim of compensation will NOT be accepted 3 or more days after the receipt of the parcel
  • Any claim of compensation will NOT be accepted if the parcel has not been claimed for more than 30 days after its arrival at our overseas warehouse
  • User will be notified by email upon completion of the claim
Free Parcel Return Service
  • Please send the following documents to [email protected] with “Username + Order Number + Free Parcel Return” in email subject
    • Proof of purchase, such as invoices or transaction records, which includes the actual value and quantity of goods purchased. Buyandship reserves the right to request users to provide more information as needed
    • Communication records between the user and the seller during the purchase
    • Contact details of the seller, including the recipient’s individual or company name, delivery address, phone number, email address, and tax information of the company
  • We will schedule a window of time for the user to return the parcel to our Kwai Hing Buyandship Redemption Centre after all the necessary documents are provided
  • Users must bring the returned parcel to Kwai Hing Buyandship Redemption Centre in person. Upon checking, the returned parcel will be sealed and packed, and a photographic record will be made
  • The returned parcel will be sent within 5 working days and the tracking number of the parcel will be sent to the user’s registered email address
  • The estimated parcel travel time to the United States or United Kingdom is 5-10 working days
  • Users are advised to confirm that return delivery falls within acceptable periods and limits as specified by the seller prior to initiating a return with Buyandship
  • Users are advised to confirm the terms and conditions of the seller’s parcel return policy, such as whether the original packaging is required or goods must retain all tags, prior to initiating a return with Buyandship
  • Buyandship will be responsible only for fees associated with the delivery from the Kwai Hing Buyandship Redemption Centre to the seller. We are not liable for any costs or fees assessed by the seller on the returned goods nor on the seller’s refund process
  • If the seller rejects the returned parcel and sends it back to our oversea warehouse, the parcel will be regarded as a new parcel and immediately forwarded to Hong Kong. A new delivery fee for this parcel will be charged
