In February, the flights (cargo and passenger) from Japan to Hong Kong were greatly reduced. Facing the risk of provisional restriction on face masks in Japan and the critical situation of flights, we decided to ship all the shipments which arrived at our Japan warehouse in three batches by sea. In order to speed up the shipping process after the considerable quantity of shipments had arrived at Hong Kong, we had set up a temporary Buyandship Redemption Center for the parcel collection of sea shipments. Hence, all cargoes were directly handled at the temporary center, which greatly reduced processing time by simplifying shipment procedures after their arrivals at Hong Kong warehouse. We are truly sorry for the shipment delays.
Due date: March 27th
Almost all sea shipments have been finished the shipment processing at our HK warehouse last week, except those shipments which require to be further processed. Please collect your shipments once you receive the parcel collection notification. The due date of parcel collection will be on March 27th (Friday).
Delivery Arrangement for Sea Shipment
If you or your assigned representative can not pick up shipments by the assigned time, you can arrange a delivery service by filling the Delivery Request Form. The storage fee of these sea shipments will be exempted. We provide a special offer, HK$ 25 per pound, to each sea shipment using delivery service. The shipping fee from Japan to Hong Kong, and the local delivery fee are included in the offered price. Industrial and residential areas can enjoy this offer with the same price. If you decide to address your shipment to a S.F. store or an EF locker, it may take a longer time to get the shipment ready for pickup. Please do not use the address of Alfred lockers, Alfred points or Buyandship Redemption Centers as your delivery address when you fill in the form.
One form is only for one shipment. If you have more than one shipment, please fill in a new form with details for every other shipment order accurately. This special arrangement is only available for sea shipments which can not be consolidated with any other parcels. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to you.
When an order is created, the fee is calculated based on the charge of parcel collection at Buyandship Redemption Center. Any Buyandship points deducted are based on the same calculation. Since there is a price difference between picking up at Buyandship Redemption Center, HK$22/lb, and the special delivery offer of HK$ 25/lb, the remaining fee will be collected by the courier when you receive your shipment. Only cash payment is available.
What you only need to do is to fill the form if you would like to arrange for the delivery of your sea shipments. After the shipment is sent out, we will update the shipment status to the Shipment Order page and you will receive the tracking number of your shipment within 4 working days. You can track your shipment on SF-Plus Website or SF Express Website. Please note that the parcel collection method of sea shipments can not be changed anymore once you have submitted the request form for delivery.
Arrangement for overdue sea shipments
We will send all the overdue shipments to the Buyandship Redemption Center located at Join-in Hang Sing Center, Kwai Fong on March 30th (Monday) . Please come to collect your shipment within 14 days after you receive an email notification regarding the change of the pickup location.
