So now that you’ve signed up, earned your free credits, and started shipping things to our overseas warehouses, and what are the following steps you ask? Shipping and all the declaration process may sound a little confusing to some of you newbies at first, but we promise to always make your lives easier by simplifying the process.
Some of you may feel the urge to constantly log into your accounts everyday to check for shipping status so you won’t possibly miss any step that may lead to a delay. But let us assure you that at BuyandShip, we keep our processes SIMPLE. We do mostly everything for you! You can say that it is easy as 1, 2, & 3.
ARRIVAL AT THE OVERSEAS WAREHOUSE
This is the first email you will get after you’ve declared your shipment on our website via your account page. Once our warehouse receives it and matches the information on the package to your account, you will receive your FIRST notification.
NOTE: You DO NOT need to do anything at this point. This is our way of saying “we got you”.
SHIPMENT READY FOR CONSOLIDATION
This is another way of saying that a shipment under your account has arrived at our Hong Kong warehouse.
At this point you have 2 options:
1. If this is the ONLY purchase you have made and are not planning to group other items together, all you have to do is tick the box, choose your designated pick-up location or shipping method, and get the shipping fees calculated.
OR
2. If you’ve made other purchases and are planning to send them to you altogether, all you need to do is wait. You have 7 days of parcel storage free of charge (HK$10/day storage fee will be charged from 8th day onwards). After 30 days, parcels will be abandoned. Once everything gets to the HK warehouse, just click on all the boxes, consolidate them, and get the shipping fees calculated.
ORDER READY FOR PICKUP/DELIVERY
At this point, you will receive an email notification telling you pick-up is ready, along with the total shipping fee required for package redemption. ALL of BuyandShip’s shipments will be sent directly to you, or to the designated pick-up location you choose.
*BuyandShip has established 70 self-pickup centers and 54 self-pickup lockers for customers for parcel collection.
NOTE: You cannot change or return to another redemption center once the parcel is delivered to your selected redemption center.
