With the popularity of custom sneakers continuing to rise, it can be a challenge for some artists to come up with original ideas that stand out from the pack. But designer Joshua Vides did just that with a surreal customized design that’s had social media buzzing this week.
Vides hand-painted a pair of Nike Air Force 1 Lows, with a visual effect that looks like something that came out of a comic book. Not only does it look super cool but it’s also wearable.
Bad news is, each pair might cost a third of your salary (US$500 / HK$3909)! Quantities are limited too, only 25 unique pairs were produced.
We’ve got an idea, why not DIY one ourselves! All we need is a black acrylic marker and a pair of pretty white sneaks!
